The Gold Dolphins Award
Reserved to Internet "native" art works.
This means that works which may apply for this award have to be conceived and realized to exist on the Internet. This award can be assigned to entire sites or to elements like, i.e., animated gifs or single html, dhtml and JS documents.		 Reserved to art sites and works on the net.
This means that works which may apply for this award do not need to be conceived and realized to exist on the Internet. Gold Award can be assigned to galleries, museums, collections, albums and to single art and craftworks exposed on the Internet.

  1. must exist under MSIE 4 and be wholly operative (no broken links, corrupted graphics, JavaScript errors).
  2. must not require download of plug-ins or heavy applets, except those shipped with MSIE and small ActiveX controls.
  3. must not exceed the weight of 60 kb for each page, graphic, JS, CSS and .class reference files included.

  • Beside, the Internet presentation and adaptation of works
Both awards mainly exact of the work to produce an awakening or an intensification of vital senses in the observer and to stimulate intellect' synapsis.

How to apply

To apply for Fire Award, send your work via e-mail, subject "Fire Award application"; file attach to this msg a one-page work you consider representative of your style. This attachement must be a zip file containing all the dependencies the page may need of (graphics, JS and CSS files). No server-side scripts are allowed on this page. Works selected for the Award will be represented with this page on the Dolphins Award's Active Channel in Museo Nuovo Rinascimento. The body of the msg must contain the author(s)' name and e-mail address(es), the title of the attached page and the year of composition; might also report a short description and instructions for use.
You may run for the Award with this standing-alone page, or it may be part of a more complex work being linked to external files on the net. In this case, the msg's body must report the URL of the work's main page.
